“Old Habits Die Hard.”
The buzzworthy short film “Mob Rats” is available on Amazon Prime Video. Billed as a short thriller, the movie is about a former member of the mob turned FBI informant, who participates in a documentary and recounts his past and the events that took place before he became a mob rat. The film stars George Avgoustis as Benny ‘The Bullet’ Esposito. Avgoustis is an actor from Michigan who starred in the TV drama Lee Martin’s The Midnight Hour from 2013-15. The director, Tiffany Cosey, also stars in the film as Lisa Anderson, a reporter spearheading the fictional documentary. Cosey is best known from her role on TV One’s Fatal Attraction and is making her directorial debut with “Mob Rats.”
“Mob Rats” premiered on Monday, May 30, 2016 at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, GA.
